Whilst doing the usual early morning phone check: news, try and avoid what evil nonsense the orange boiled ham in a wig has done/said, Instagram, eBay, Facebook and few Micky Flanagan clips, check YouTube for new Nessie sightings....(in days of yore I used to chat to my partner) I was surprised to learn that, meteorologically speaking (la di da) autumn ends on the 21st December! I think for most of us it ends at the end of November. I have given up thinking this because no one plays ball but I wish there was an embargo on all things Christmas till the 1st of December because no sooner has the last firework fizzled out and that bleeding ‘holidays are coming’ truck appears on TV and people start bitching they had to drink a latte out of a Starbucks cup without a snowman on. It also means autumn gets a bit sidelined, like a bride arriving at the church in a beautiful dress to find the groom is in full drag. Well, autumn, I will navigate the John Lewis ad, the Coke truck, the Aldi carrot, the Iceland orangutang (I’m checking everything for palm oil so thank you Iceland) totally transcendentally until the 1st Dec when I will be counting down with an Instagram advent calendar (la di da) with a Christmas story attached to each image. Happy Autumn one and all! #Autumn #fall #Leafs #autumnrules #leejackdesign #flatlay #autumnleaf #Autumnshades #Seasonal #halifax #cokead #johnlewisadvert #icelandadvert #starbucks #aldicarrot #happyautumn https://www.instagram.com/p/BqRs0IBga4I/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=hu0ubx54ggs9
