She was feeling better now that she had a drink in her hand. Maybe that was a problem, but it wasn't a bear she wanted to poke right now. Having decided to stay after almost leaving the lodge entirely earlier, she knew she'd need something to smooth over all the feelings that were brought up by being here, where her family had stayed when she was young.
She recognized the woman sitting next to her — Loki, beautiful, a bit younger. She refilled Avalon's antidepressants, which of course, she wasn't supposed to be drinking on. She turned toward her and said, "I can't promise to be good conversation but I do hate sitting in silence."
