She tried, as a general rule, not to make a nuisance of herself in public on accident. (On purpose was an entirely different story, and usually involved Amos.) But the moral of the story was that she did try and behave. Alice was the one that got to mouth off and misbehave in public, bless her.
Edith really hadn’t meant to bowl Avalon over on her way out of the Leaky Cauldron. “Oh Merlin’s beard, I’m so sorry.” She said as she skidded to a halt to try and help the girl back up. “I wasn’t paying enough attention, are you okay?”
