Jihun opened her beloved brown leather messenger bag, (Jihun took very good care of said bag, evidence being it’s polished shine, and the fact that there were barely any nicks made.) She folded her school map carefully and slide it in her bag inbetween her book, The Gift of Rain, and a blue spiral bound notebook, that was labeled algebra in hanguel. She lovingly closed the school bag, delicately yet securely fastening the belted straps.
She slipped a thin, neatly folded wad of paper out of her pocket. Jihun unfolded the paper that produced a crinkling sound that was pleasant to her ears. Her eyes scanned over the words. After a few minutes of reading She blinked hard in frustation. Her cheeks reddening in frustration. “Stupied english! Why are you so hard to understand!" Jihun mumbled, she wished she had recieved this as an email, her phone at least had a decent translator so she could just copy and paste say a text message and she could read it in her native tongue. She leaned a little closer to the paper, as if her going in closer would make the words more distinguishable.
She smiled to herself. She looked up at the classroom number plates and her eyes firmly locked onto a door. Jihun walked over to the door after she folded the paper up again and stored it in her pocket.
She reached for the metal door handle and slowly opened the door. The first thing she noticed was a messy-blonde hair, green eyed male student sitting at a wooden desk. He seemed to be reading a thick hardcover book. Jihun walked over, her stride full of confidence and bounce. Her bag slapping against her thigh, pens, pencils, and papers making a bundle of clattering and rattling noises. Her braid swung back and forth like a pendulum. She waved to the student. “Hello! I’m Jihun Park! This is the room for the student council? I would like to join! Do you know where I can find the president?" Jihun asked jovially. “I have my application all filled out and ready to give to him!" She patted her bag, then opened it and pulled out a stapled packet of estimate three pages long.
