the mighty SHUB NIGGURATH!!!
love this band!!
Canterbury metal? Djent Classical? Saloon-core? Univers Zero Escape Plan? Electric Miles Davis in Opposition? A maze of these and other genres for you in the new album. Nine traditionally titled tracks, repeatedly tested on humans. Superficially heavy, this music is sleek, lyrical and resembles a tiger sneaking up on soft paws but looking to sharpen claws and plunge. Fragile filling in an all-metal shell was the hallmark of the band from the very outset. This time we went a little further -- more heavy jazz, more metal turned inside out, excursions into the history of music of the XX century, and the familiar musical sarcasm. What the new album is not about -- it is the inherent pathos of all ‘progressive’. Inflation of style removes information from music. This album is like an old but favorite flash drive which has room only for the most important files.
