Hey y'all! I’m Miles, and I’ve been modding fan projects for a little over a year now! This’ll be my 15th-ish project as a mod and I’m super excited as it’s my first time helping to produce a tarot deck. I can’t wait to work with this talented group of people to combine my two passions into what I’m sure will be an amazing project! I’ll be overseeing the finance & production of this zine & deck and believe in being as transparent as possible with the funds, so please reach out if you have questions! ❤ 

💧WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THIS ZINE?💧

I adore this franchise and it holds a special place in my heart- I also think a tarot deck is perfect for this series because of all the unique characters and themes of the show and comics. This project honestly just called my name as soon as I heard about it and I cannot wait to be a part of making it happen.

💧WHY CAN WE COUNT ON YOU?💧

I’ve had a lot of zine experiences where the team didn’t work well together and communication was lacking. In this project, I hope to further learn and grow on what works within a mod team and what doesn’t, and utilize my own past experiences to help have a successful and transparent experience for all.

Hello! ☀ I’m a graphic designer and freelance artist based in the US and I’m in charge of marketing for Avatarots! I’ve modded for over 10 zines over the past two years, participated in nearly 20, and have plenty of experience in marketing, communication, and graphic design.

🔥WHY IS YOUR FAVORITE CARD THE THE STAR?🔥

Unfortunately, I’m not well-versed with tarot and the meanings of each card, so the reasoning behind the card i chose as my favorite has nothing to do with what the card stands for. The Star is my favorite card because it attributes to my favorite character from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure.

Oh you know. Cats and vampires.

I have been a part of so many zines that lacked organization, management, and communication. These are not experiences anybody should have for a zine project, and I will do my best to ensure the best and most organized experience for everyone involved in this project!

🎐WHY IS YOUR FAVORITE CARD THE HIGH PRIESTESS?🎐

I like that this card tells me that my answers are within and all I need to do is pay attention to my intuition. I have a tendency to ignore my feelings and distrust them, so this card reassures me that I can trust myself.

🎐AIR: WHAT IS YOUR MOST IMPORTANT VALUE/MORAL?🎐

I can't say that one value is more important than another, but one of my values is commitment to empathy.

If I weren't working on this project, I would have been following it to its final stages to purchase it. I'm eager to see this project to completion because I truly believe in the idea and passion behind it. I've listed my experience below, and I'm confident I can help get this thing done.

Hey y’all <3 'Tis Humanbob, an aspiring teacher, and creator of the very first Avatar tarot deck project (with a hilarious pun name ;3 ) I've been in 10+ zines since I've started modding last October, now I'm exclusively starting my own projects!

🌅WHY IS YOUR FAVORITE CARD THE SUN?🌅

I'm not an expert (yet) on tarot/oracle decks, so I do admit my reasoning is a little bit shallow. I found out one of my birth cards was The Sun. Interestingly enough, SUN is my initials, done on purpose by my family (not due to tarots, however). Gotta be fate, right? The Sun is who I am at my best. I love myself most and can connect with others most when I can connect to my kid-at-heart nature, a child who is absolutely shameless in who they are.

🌅WHAT KEEPS YOU GROUNDED? WHAT KEEPS YOU DETERMINED? 🌅

Comedy, making jokes, and so on. I like making a joke out of my situation sometimes, so it does not feel as bad. Love to also bike and make star origami.

🌅 WHY CAN WE COUNT ON YOU? 🌅

I have had waaay to many bad experiences with terrible head mods, it was incredibly fustrating to have had to deal with the consequences of their actions, and so I do a fantastic job here. I pick my mods carefully. I also have a very nice affinity with organisation and communication, often being complemented for them hehe!

🌕 We found out about two interesting holidays today: Duruthu Full Moon Poya Day - the day Sri Lankians celebrate the first full moon of the year and Buddha's first visit to Sri Lanka - and Fête du Vodoun which celebrates the history of the Vodoun religion! I really like the notion that everything is already there for you, you just have to put it all together.

You can count on me because as someone with experience working in many different offline projects such as art sales, halloween parties, seminars, and the like, I know how important communication is and I want to show that as a mod on this project.
