Okay so anyone else think Beatrice might go back to her parents in s3? Her diplomats parents. I need to see her in formal wear either a dress/suit and have Ava crash the event.

I could see it going either way! I'm leaning more toward dropping in, but I could definitely see her wanting to tackle some things head-on now that Ava has given her a reason to doubt everything that has been pounded into her head from a young age. Part of that being facing her parents.

She doesn't seem like the type that would stage a big THING with them, more like she would show up and let them think what they think, and demonstrate that she can't be bullied and refuses to fit into their boxes anymore.

12/10 would kill to see Beatrice in formalwear though. That is an image that will definitely not be leaving my head now.

Ava only spend brief time with Beatrice twice when they had meals together and later when Bea comforted her after Mother Superion accused her of suicide. (four times if you count Bea drugging Ava at Arq-Tech and when she was chained on the bed at Cat's Cradle).

The next time they met, Ava saved her from Sister Crimson after fangirling over her badassery. Since then something definitely shifted between them.

Between's Ava's 'cool' at the hallway, talking about Sister Melanie's journal, and phasing into 20 feet walls - Beatrice allowed Ava in. It's beyond being a mentor - pushing her past her fears, but Bea actually considers Ava as her actual *friend*, which is different to her sister warriors.

Which is interesting considering her assesement of Ava is always honest but harsh and unflattering - self centered, thoughtless, not a team player, Ava's instict of flight not fight. And yet she must've seen something in Ava despite those qualities.

I love them so much and I hope season two explores the possibility of them being a couple without going into *too much* angst and unnecessary drama. I think the conflict will be a gold mine to explore, particularly how she will reconcile her faith and sexuality and what she'll do about her vows

I’m going to be starting on an Avatrice AU because I’m officially hooked on writing them, but I’m hoping to actually get better and have a beta…is there still space in the/any of the Avatrice fanfic discords? Idk if there are multiple

I’ve never used discord before but I’m just going all into this fandom now I guess instead of lingering on the periphery like I usually do because I love them too much.
