Had a reminder of why I don't trust and do my best to not affiliate with Christians, at least the hardcore ones. They make a mockery of your own beliefs without bothering to learn about them, they are transphobic, they are manipulative of your mental illnesses (the demons are inside you rhetoric), and would rather throw away years of love because you were actually just a project that didn't end in the correct result. And that's just the surface.

Parents cast away their children and pretend they don't exist. And that's the kinder option.

Friends turn their backs on you when they can't convert you. And that's the kinder option.

Religious leaders abuse and traumatize and manipulate you. And that's the kinder option.

There's always worse, and I've seen the worse. Time and time again.

Hostile reminder that differences are not mere differences to Christians. They are war, and something to be squashed or cast out.
