AVer SVC500 is the ideal video conferencing system for large scale meetings. The design has a futuristic “Orbit” theme, which recurs in the camera, the codec, the microphone and even the user interface. The most obvious feature is the newly designed, curved stand supporting the powerful 12X optical gain lens. For more flexible lens positioning, the joint has been moved to the end instead of the side, while the stand is shaped like a quarter of a planet’s orbit, giving the camera a cleaner and more sophisticated look. The blue power indicator and the color ring on the front of the lens don’t just fit the Orbit’s space concept, but also provide a continuity of design with Aver’s other products. The microphone’s shape, inspired by spacecraft designs, the round power button and the ventilation holes on the codec all fit into the Orbit’s space concept. All of this makes the Orbit not just a highly functional modern product, but a good-looking one as well.
