Hey I saw your reply about motion media design and what is that exactly? It sounded really interesting from the vague description you gave. Also, I'm Canadian, do you know any good schools that offer it/any job opportunities?
Sheridan is the only Canadian school that I know of ; v ;.. But if you google around there should be a lot of animation related companies (that’s so vague I know, sorry, but idk any off the top of my head other than videogames).
Ok so animation + graphic design flair is the best descrip I can give for motion media, but for something more useful... if you look at these things:
title sequences (those beginning bits @ beginnings of movies and tv shows that show main credits and titles etc.)
those weird mocap videos of “people” dancing but its weird af textures
these kinda graphic-oriented animations
u know those youtube videos that are like ‘onceler x shrek’ and someone has taken the time to cut out animations of 2 characters and make them somehow work together? id consider that motion media.
the line between whats ‘animation’ and whats ‘motion media’ blends and overlaps a lot so that’s why it’s sorta vague. like everything i listed is still animation so its like \o/ idk
