I just wanted to write and say god bless you for having such a readable color scheme for your blog. Other people have this white on slightly-less-white and it is such a pain on my eyes, so thank you for your wonderful writing and your wonderful color scheme!
Thank you so much for mentioning this! I know it's kind of a standard thing for blogs that post writing to have small black/gray letters on white backgrounds to mimic paper, and for the longest time I tried to find a theme that I liked that fit a manuscript feel. But it's really hard for me to read (especially, like you mentioned, the blaring white-on-off-white, and especially because my eyes are starting to get worse), and I was drawn to the light letters with gray/dark gray backgrounds because it was soft. I'm sure there are reasons why it's easier for people to read and I'm sure I'm babbling now but I just wanted to say thank you, because I've worried about it often :)
