Blysk:01. What does your character’s name mean? Did you pick it for the symbolism, or did you just like the way it sounded?I spell it incorrectly (because generally I forget that my phone has the correct key), but it is usually spelt as Błysk. It’s the Polish word for flash/flicker/glimmer.I really just like the way it sounded.

02. What is one of your character’s biggest insecurities? Are they able to hide it easily or can others easily exploit this weakness? His biggest visible insecurity is the story behind the scar across his face, and as long as it’s not Yukiko that’s asking, he’s pretty decent at hiding it.His other insecurity is how unbelievably red his face gets when people mention Yukiko, and that he can’t hide. He just shoves his face in snow to cool down.

06. Do they have any hobbies that their lover finds unusual, odd, or otherwise annoying? YES OMG he eats flower petals (he grows special roses) and Yukiko always gets confused and slightly disturbed because of it. Sometimes he just eats the entire flower head.

08. What is, perhaps, their biggest flaw? Are they aware of this or oblivious to it?From a creators perspective, his biggest flaw is how easily he submits to someones beauty. His former lover he fell for because he was a gorgeous man, and he fell for Yukiko because she was a Goddess and such in her beauty. He is very oblivious to this fact.Another flaw I gave him is that he has a hard time expressing himself outside of extreme conditions, but that’s something he’s trained himself to do.

09. Do they have a favorite season? What about a favorite holiday? Where he comes from seasons don’t really exist as we know them, and neither do holidays.However, I’ve made a few AUs where he does live on earth, and in that case he loves Winter and Valentines Day the most!!

Kaze and Inazuma:12. Is there some particular talent, skill, or attribute that they simply could not give up? (I’m assuming this is choice based)

K: Kaze would never dream of giving up his learned skill of extreme multitasking. It’s not all that impressive as it is, but he can do upwards of five things at once. (as long as none of them include complicated math, at least)I: Inazuma loves reading and can read a good sized novel in just under four hours, and he’s able to retain all important information from things he’s read almost immediately. It’s a skill he prides himself on.

13. What are your character’s sleeping habits? Heavy or light sleeper? Blanket stealer? One that always rolls onto the floor? Pushes their lover onto the floor? Sleep talker or walker?

K: He’s a light sleeper, but tosses and turns. He sleep talks sometimes, but it’s more often than not just gibberish or nonsense.I: Inazuma is a fuckin’ heavy sleeper. You need like 20 horns in his ear to wake him up when it’s not his usual time. It’s really rare to catch him in a light sleep, even in naps. He also thrashes now and again, and more often than not he has pushed Kaze to the floor, or to the very edge of their tent.

17. Does your character have dreams of getting married and/or having children?

K: Yes he does!! He doesn’t believe that anyone would marry him, sadly, and he fears that he’d be a bad father, but he has always wanted a simple home life with a spouse and children.I: Not so much, he never aspired to be a father. However, a few years after meeting and courting Kaze, he got warm enough to actually propose. He really just likes parties, but it made his boyfriend happy and that’s really all he wants.

20. Does your character like animals? What are some of their favorite animals? Would they want pets? What about mythological creatures?

K: He’s not a big fan of animals in general, but if you put a puppy or kitten in front of him he will smile and pet it awkwardly. He’s not really the kind of person that would want a pet around the house, unless he wouldn’t have to take care of it. Kaze’d love to see a dragon.I: He loves animals, but is allergic to many of them. His favorite animals are small tweety birds, and though he’d like to own some he doesn’t believe himself to be a good enough owner to be able to take care of them. He would settle for a cat as a pet, but since Kaze won’t help take care of it he is petless. He’s more a fan of Manticores and Sphinxes in the mythological creature department.

22. What kind of tattoos, piercings, birthmarks, freckles, and other such unique physical features do they have?

K:Kaze’s baby-ass smooth skin and bright green eyes are the most unique/altered/special features he has lmao.I: Inazuma, however… He’s got ten piercings, four in his left ear, five in his right and his belly button is pierced. He also has starkly white pupils, and an oddly branch shaped mark on his lower back.

Averyia:17. Does your character have dreams of getting married and/or having children?

If you were to ask her outright and out of nowhere, she’d laugh and say no. However, if her girlfriend were to say something, she’d turn a few shades darker and stammer out something akin to “I dunno…” with a sheepish smile.She loves her life on the sea, but if she found someone that’d be willing to work with that fact and join her as a pirate (cough cough Allochka cough), she’d be more than willing to set up a sea-side wedding and fine an orphan to raise (which isn’t really like a plan of hers, more like “hey if we find a poor alone child we can take it in. Raise it as one of our own.”)

50. If your character confessed love to their crush, boyfriend, girlfriend, etc, what would they say?

Even though Averiya loves extravagant events and outfits, she’s not one for extravagant words or flowery poems. It’d probably be late one night, curled up in her chamber with Allochka and the dogs. She’d hum to herself for a second, before shifting and turning to look at her girlfriend. “Hey Allochka?” she’d wait until she got her full attention, before smiling and adding on, “I love you.” and then wrap her arms around her and just try to sleep.

Captain’s Cabin

The cabin is fairly warm, especially under several layers of blankets. “WOOF!” A heavy weight on her back disturbs her perfectly good slumber. She sits up with a glare at her dog Snuffles, who proceeds to keep barking and attack her with kisses. “Ack! No!” Allochka tries to push the creature away but gives up when he lays on top of her. She lets out a puff of air. The cabin’s door opens with a slight screech, letting the harsher light of day filter in. Coming through the doorway is none other than the ship’s captain, Averiya. She holds a tray in her hands and kicks the door shut behind her. Duncan’s bark of protest can be heard outside. Snuffles looks up with his silly dog grin. The tiefling looks rather unamused for the moment. She sets down the tray on a bedside table before easily picking up Snuffles under an arm and escorting him outside. “Now that that’s all taken care of,” Averiya removes her jacket, placing it on a chair in the room, “we’ve got some time to ourselves.” Allochka sits up with a grin, still under layers of blankets. “Did you have anything in mind?” “I’ve got snacks.” The captain makes a quick gesture to the tray as she takes her boots off. “Maybe we could sit close, kiss, all that squishy romance stuff.” That earns her a giggle from the shorter woman. “I’m up for it.” She waits for Averiya to sit on the bed before removing herself from her blanket cocoon. “Did you bring chocolate?” “Anything for you, my Kindness.” The captain grins as she slips a hand around her jaw, pulling her close for a kiss. Allochka’s heart flutters whenever she calls her that. The two hold each other, pressing lips together for a while before the smaller woman pulls away, diving for the tray. A soft laugh escapes Averiya as her girlfriend stuffs at least three chocolates in her face. “Whah? Dey’re ood!” “There’s more where that came from you know. I can always get you more.” “Right…” Allochka stares at the bed for a moment, slightly flustered at her own error. It was still a little weird for her to try and get used to having a steady supply of food. She chews and swallows, taking only one item from the tray this time. “You doing alright?” “Yeah, sorry.” She sticks the strawberry between her teeth before scooting close to Averiya. “My Kindness?” “Hm?” “Come here.” The tiefling’s voice is soft but firm as she tilts the other’s chin up, leaning down to bite the strawberry still sticking out of the other’s mouth. It’s only a nibble off the end, the leafy part that Allochka didn’t really like. She laughs softly, letting the smaller eat the rest. “How about we do more of that snuggle stuff and snack?” “Sounds good to me.” Both were definitely all about the food, but snuggles were definitely a bonus.

:0 (I’m gonna go full pirate on this because she’s the most developed version)

11: Is there a place they go to in order to escape the world, the stresses of life? What’s their favorite place?      Usually her quarters on the ship are her go-to place, but (as dorky as it sounds) long watches on beaches are her go-to place when they’re docked to clear her head and relieve stress.

12: What scent calms them? Reminds them of home or something soothing?     She loves the warm scent of vanilla, but the scent of sweat and blood after a battle is also something that she enjoys.

13: Do they have any favorite foods?Would they eat it all the time if they had the chance? What do they hate to eat?     She loves sweets of all kinds. If it has sugar,, she’d probably eat it. She also loves most fried delicacies and miniature foods. She hates, however, anything bitter. ANYTHING bitter.

14: Pet peeves. Tell us what would really tick them off. Do they have a Berserk Button?    She get mad at a lot easily, but her little bursts of mad don’t usually last long. It happens mostly when people don’t follow orders or are have no common sense. Her biggest pet peeve is when people trash her ship and don’t bother to clean up after themself, and it usually lands them swabbing duty for a few weeks.

15: Does your OC have any awful fears? Do they get paralyzed with fear or can they work through their fears?     She doesn’t have too many actual fears, but she constantly worries about her ship. She’s terrified of losing Allochka- to the point where she’d probably throw herself in harms way. But most other things she can push through.

16: What are concepts they value? Virtues? What do they look down upon?    Her morality is grey at best, being a pirate captain and thief. She doesn’t care for the idea of justice, but if anything nonconsensual happens to anyone where she can see or hear it happening, the person committing the act will have their ass burnt to a crisp.

17: Do they have any guilty pleasure? They embarrassed about them? Do they flaunt them?     Actually not really; any guilty pleasures she may have she doesn’t see that way, and just about flaunt everything about herself.

18: Do they have a guilty conscience? Why? Did they ever do something they totally regretted?     Really, she doesn’t. She commits murder a lot and was able to kind of grow out any kind of conscience she might have once had. However, she has dated quite a few women she’s regretted in the past.
