“Well that was a shitty game!” Averman had announced, “What do you mean? We just won.” Adam told him, quirking an eyebrow, at the boy’s odd analysis

Then the whole team turned to look at him - confused as to why their teammate had reappeared, prior to his departure. “Where were you, anyways-” Charlie began to ask, before you emerged from the bathroom - wearing a ducks jersey, hair frazzled, and purple blotches covering your neck.

“Oh come on guys, that’s nasty!” Adam groaned, rolling his eyes, and moving his hands frustratedly; over his face. “What do you mean?” Averman scratched the back of his neck, giving you the side-eye, as he moved to cover your neck with his hands.

“Lester-” He winked at the use, of his full-first-name. “One, she’s got hickeys all over her neck.” Les looked at you, and you offered him an overly-sweetly-innocent: look. “Two, her hair’s messed up.” You gave Adam a look. “No offence, (y/n), you look great-” “HEY!-“ Averman began to argue, angry that his friend had so much, as complimented, you! “-and three, she’s wearing your fucking jersey, dude.” They looked, and you were; indeed, wearing your boyfriend’s jersey.

“Oh shit.” You each said, simultaneously.
