When Avery was little, whenever she had nightmares or got scared, she would want to sleep with her parents. Gretel would never turn her away and always let her climb into bed with them and put her arm around her child until she fell asleep.

Still Gretel couldn’t stop thinking 'This is  my fault. If I wasn't a witch, she wouldn't be one.'
