FUN UPDATE I WENT FROM AN 80 ON MY LAST TEST TO A 90 ON THIS TEST USING UR METHOD THANK U <3
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS iM SO PROUD OF U!
just wanted to say that your fold-over method is a complete lifesaver. i'm taking my first test after using it tomorrow, (calc 1) and i'm really confident that this will help bring up my grade. thank you so much!!
YEEESS! ur welcome beb !!! [for those curious this is the method]
hi! love your blog. 9-19 for the studyblr questions, please? thank u :3
9. What is your favorite stationery?
This questions always gets me… I would have to say my MUJI pens because they’re what I’m most selective with, but I love all my stationery!
10. What is your favorite piece of stationery you own?
My wite-out and my washi tape. They’re amazing :)
11. What kinds of pens do you prefer?
I love the Pentel R.S.V.P. Fine tip pens. They are super smooth to write with and very precise.
12. Favorite book you’ve read for school?
I actually hate reading for school. I tend to only really enjoy a book when I read it because I want to, not because I’m forced. The only two book I read for school and LOVED were The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton and Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck. They remain two of my favorite books of all time.
13. Favorite studying apps?
Forest is an amazing app for using the pomodoro technique. myHomework is a good app to keep track of all your classes and various assignments. Google Calendar is great for life, too.
14. What advice about studying changed your life?
The advice for studying that changed my life is that it’s okay to fail or no understand. It’s completely normal. We are not computers; we all process information very differently. It all comes down to finding the most efficient method for you.
15. What quote has impacted you the most?
There are way too many…
16. What do you do when you’re feeling unmotivated?
I calm down. Usually, when I’m feeling unmotivated it’s because I’m too anxious to touch anything school-related, so I don’t. I take a breather. When I feel I’ve significantly calmed down, I simply revisit my task and take it one step at a time. Other times, I scroll through Tumblr and it always seems to help :)
17. Have you ever felt not good enough?
More often than I care to admit. Then I remember that my learning process is not meant to compete with the learning processes of others. The learning process is meant to nourish my mind, my beautiful, wonderfully curious mind. The information I receive is not and will never be received the same as it does anywhere else. That makes me special :) Which is a helluva lot more than “not good enough”.
18. What is your organization system for school?
My bullet journal, Google Calendar, and the myHomework app. That’s all I need.
19. How has having this blog changed you?
This blog has made me more mindful of how I study and how often I study. I don’t remember the last time I studied or, even more-so, ENJOYED studying!
xoxo
@averycutemayor
i feel like i've stepped into a dream, thank you
You’re very welcome!! I try my very best to keep the atmosphere like that, even though eventually there might appear some nonsense posts, personal rants and selfies, heheh. Stay as long as you desire ✨
just scrolled through your directory and found nothing but gems. i really like how i know the artists but not the songs, you have a knack for posting only the lesser known but still great tracks. i really can't thank you enough for this blog :33
Awwww, I love this message! Thankyou very much, I really appreciate it :) I hope you’re enjoying the songs!
starts singing that song the apollos used to sing on valentines day about friendship and it being the perfect blendship or whatever
FRIENDSHIP FRIENDSHIP JUST THE PERFECT MOTHERFUCKING BLENDSHIP
Hi!!
I was chasing down the days of fear
Last night all black and white when I was sleeping
Hello, hello
When we die
Turn away
Send me a "hi" and I'll give you a poem from the first line of five songs.
