19. What were your character’s deepest disillusions? In life? What are they now?

The fact that some people are just good and pure. Max never believed anyone who is wholesomely good or morally righteous. He has seen the worst in everyone even though honestly, he hasn’t see the worst. So he is constantly wary of the bad sides of the people he comes into contact with. Its still his deepest disillusion still.

22. Who are their friends? Lovers? ‘Type’ or ‘ideal’ partner?

Max is pretty much a social butterfly and easy to get along with anyone and everyone. His friends are basically those he always talks to even though sometimes they don’t consider themselves as his friends. His lover... haha guys! Come on, we know its Avery (ɔ◔︣‿◔︣)ɔ ❤ ideal everything to Max.

23. What do they want from a partner? What do they think and feel of sex?

Unconditional acceptance. Nothing matters more to Max than that. He has never felt that ever until people in London accepted for who he is and as of now there are only three of them, Avery, his uncle Aaron and his former mentor, David Aslanov.

Sex to Max used to be something that is of not only pleasure but fun as well. He’s used to one night stands and getting sex anytime he wants. Although it has changed with Avery. I mean, it still is fun and pleasurable for him but at the same time he has been very attentive, caring of Avery’s pleasure and comfort more than his.

28. Who is your character’s mate? How do they relate to him or her? How did they make their choice?

Avery Davenport. As mentioned, she was one of the first ones who accepted him for who he really is with no questions. Max knew how difficult Avery’s background was and related to it even though their situations were different. The parallels and difficulties they felt made Max empathetic to her situation and he actually knows her more than he knows himself. His attachment to Avery came as a surprise for Max. He knows he was falling for her although he has never expected anything from her. Max was used to being rejected, toyed or used as a stepping stone etc. So with Avery, he was prepared to be subjected to the mentioned situations but of course he has been lucky. (VERY LUCKY IN MY OPINION)

Black signs with gold writing and trim decorated the railing that separated people from the plants that resided along the wall of The Garden. ‘Please do not touch the flowers, the thorns are very sharp and will cause injury.’ While the signs were there for all to see, not everyone paid attention to them. Épine was well aware of the lack of attention towards the signs, and it was already common after the years of having the club that there would be one or two people a month that were injured.

Nothing too bad, though. The more dangerous plants were kept in her office, after all. And, it was always the most beautiful of flowers that were the most deadly. “Ma’am, there’s a girl that’s hurt from the thorns...” One of the hostesses peeked over at Épine with caution, though the woman merely sighed as she stood up.

“Yes, it feels like it’s around that time of the month for someone to get hurt.” She said, nodding her head as she walked, “Thank you for telling me. I can take care of it from here.” She assured, and it was a bit of a shock to realize that the person that was harmed was Avery. Hadn’t the girl just made a reservation with them not too long ago?

“Miss Davenport?” Épine raised a brow, “...Ah, the flowers here aren’t very safe, I’m afraid. You can come with me to have your hand fixed up, though. I do hope that this will not alter your decision to keep a reservation here for Friday.”

☢ :Describe a thought or dream that would cause them to have a mental meltdown.

The nightmare plaguing Max when he was younger used to be finding his grandma dead in her room after being starved to death for several days. The nightmare would start with him going through the hallways of his old house, finding his grandma already dead on the other side of the door and scrambling to unlock the door and finding himself unable to unlock the room.

But now.. well I think we all know Max would have a complete breakdown if anything bad happens to Avery.

☆ :Would they ever wish upon a falling star? If so, what would they wish?

For the fun of it! Although Max is never a believer of wishing or hoping or even willing for something to happen without him meddling with it in the first place. He’s that person who would do these things for the fun and thrill of it and finds himself firmly back on reality’s ground and knows for a fact that he needs to work hard to get what he wants.

He kept himself busy for the past week. If he wasn't working at the Underground, he was sniffing for jobs from Hal or Zach, even volunteering to do their mundane everyday activities for them. If he wasn't doing any of those things, he was at Halric's guest house, tinkering with more of his toys and experimenting new machinery. But his mind tend to race and wander far and wide -- in this case it was always back to the only person whom have kept him rooted and truly be himself -- Avery. Try as he might he couldn't ignore her any longer. It had hurt him so much, that was the truth. That still didn't negate the fact that he loved her still. This time it was different.

Balancing a carefully wrapped package, Max took a deep breath as he stared at the door. He was exactly a week late for her birthday, something that wasn't intended in the first place. He had planned for it since last year after Christmas but it seems like one can only make plans, fate usually have other things in mind. Knocking on the door, Max waited for Avery to answer it, his heart thudding against his chest.
