Styling Rohan
rohan’s style is bold, dramatic, and flashy. i’d say it’s a mix of ’60s dandy fashion and ’80s glam, but with a touch of south asian influence. he gravitates towards bold colors such as dark purples, reds, and maroons. tailored suits, and flared pants. textures like velvets, and latex. abstract patterns, intricate floral designs, embroidery and cheetah prints.
for his day-to-day style, he’ll go for a nehru jacket with loose trousers. or he’ll pair embroidered or printed button up’s with hard-leather jackets, collar popped for extra flair!
for accessories, he’ll put on rings of gold and silver, vintage looking belts, cufflinks, and watches. patterned heeled boots in bold colors, and i can totally see him rocking tabi shoes.
for formal events, he opts for a dramatic look. he favors bold colored suits in velvet, paired with printed or satin under shirts. occasionally, he'll switch the tie with for a scarf. if he's feeling extra fancy, he'll layer with a fur or leather coat.
now this is self indulgent, but he would so wear those stupid graphic tees, especially the ones with text!
💻: fellow rohan-ers, did i do him justice? okay, this required a liiitle bit of research, i must say. I kept a western style as the major, seeing as he grew up in what must be an english-polluted area with little to no exposure to his culture or ethnic background. but, i still did add some indian-pakistani elements here and there!
