This character is Liv's ex-boyfriend and Anastasia's father. I'd prefer he be a bit older than her, but it's not a requirement; I'd prefer he not be younger, though. They were both in the same year at university. He doesn’t have to have the same major as her, but they did share quite a few classes together. A connection between them formed almost instantly until it eventually blossomed into something more. Dating him, Liv thought that she had met the man she'd spend the rest of her life with; she fell hard and fast, but she kept those emotions to herself until she was sure he felt the same. They were dating for almost two years before she found out she was pregnant. While they tried to make it work initially, he ended up leaving after when she was four months pregnant; he also could have just left in the middle of the night with no explanation. It's up to you how exactly you want him to have ended the relationship.
His leaving absolutely devastated her, and it's stopped her from letting anyone she's dated since get close to her or Anya. Since leaving, he hasn’t been involved in Anya’s life at all; it's up to you whether he's kept tabs on them though. His actual reasoning for leaving is entirely up to you. It could be a reason that she doesn't know about like her parents paying him to leave (they were heavily against her having and keeping the baby), he didn't think he'd be a good dad, or maybe he was scared of parenthood. It could also have been something he actually told her like he didn’t feel like being a dad was a good fit for his lifestyle or something. It could have been another reason entirely; either way it's completely up to you.
