I love everything avilla has ever written and I hope they return from the (metaphorical) war someday. This is their least looked at fic so- Look At It. And then all the rest.

avilla's strength as an author is something I have come to call "unfolding". I endlessly admire how they manage to examine every crease and angle of the characters through these simple situations they put them in.

Honestly you could probably understand this fic just fine even with no knowledge of Code Geass canon. So no excuses.

Lindy and Lanaya are sisters hailing from Starlight Shores.  Their new randomly selected roommate is Vallari Chandra from Appaloosa Plains.  They have no romantic interests, but do have enemies.  Lindy and Lanaya are enemies of Darren Lott while Vallari is an enemy of Gavin Pinkerton.  What will the playthrough have in store for them?

Then she did something so unexpected Nico would later think he dreamed it. She walked up to Nico, who was standing to one side in the shadows, as usual. She grabbed his hand and pulled him gently into the firelight. ‘We had one home,’ she said. ‘Now we have two.’ She gave Nico a big hug and the crowd roared with approval. For once, Nico didn’t feel like pulling away. He buried his face in Reyna’s shoulder and blinked the tears out of his eyes.
