As I look at this photo I'm reminded of why I love vintage home decor. This room is filled with so many memories. Many Items that have been passed down to us. The iron bed was my husbands grandparents and it was his childhood bed, our first bed, my daughters first big girl bed. I could never part with it. (P.S. its been many colors over the years). Also, from this view you see can my grandmothers quilt and trunk. I don't really remember her as I was 2 when she died, but this quilt has been on some bed in my home over the past 38 years. The trunk has held my secret treasures since I was a teenager. The vintage screens were my inspiration for the hanging lights beside the bed. I don't know their history but I can love them just because I know they have a history.
