Sugar (with mum)
1x05 Boy in the Corner
Melanie gets a surprise visit that unleashes Sugar's dark side. Ruby receives chilling guidance from a colleague. Davy makes a tragic decision.
Did the editing team get notes from Apple to tone down the 'classic hollywood' stylization of the pilot? It's weird because it's like they're gradually erasing any originality the series had. Repeating myself from last week, not technically a bad episode, but the change/lack of style is just so odd??
Avoidance (with mum)
1x01
Jonathan and his partner Claire are splitting up, but he's desperate not to tell their son Spencer, so runs away with him to stay with his sister Danielle and her wife Courtney.
Claire's actor is a local lass so obviously I'm already rooting for her. And I much prefer comedians when they're acting than doing stand up so I'm very optimistic I'll grow to love everyone's characters as we get to know them more. Also, hello sunshine x grumpy wives. 👀
Killing Eve (Remix) [x]
3x10 It's Always Been Mine
4x08 - Eve and Villanelle spend a loving day and night together travelling through the Scottish countryside to reach the Twelve meeting in London. At night, they board the boat, where V slaughters the present Twelve members while Eve distracts the wedding guests.
Ofc, Sandra and Jodie improvized most of their best character moments this ep. They understand Eve and Villanelle in a way the revolving group of showrunners and writers never could. And I am so grateful to them for having fun with it and showing us they care. That kiss sure was something, wasn't it? I still can't believe it actually happened. *fans self* Also, I cut the ending. Fuck Sally and Laura.
