avskild - As far as 'Rabbit' could see, this dimension was just what he had been looking for. He had yet to meet a single human being, or any living being at all for that matter. A couple of animals perhaps, but he hadn't even acknowledged them. He was alone, and that's just what he needed to be. Maybe if he just got some peace of mind, he could figure out why it felt like his life had a sudden... gap, in it. Having a seat on a fallen tree, he closed his eyes and attempted to clear his mind.
Little did the man know, the fallen tree connected to what appeared like the root-end of a tree trunk, unnatural yet still organic. Feeling the pressure on his neck, the monster’s cracked open an eye. He had expected a woodland creature finding solace upon his back, but no. It was a human. A bipedal. With eyes closed, appearing to be in thought.
No matter.
The beast let out a low rumble, body vibrating as he cast off his camouflage, neck raising and tilting as he stood. Wings rustled up from under the fallen leaves and dead foliage. The tilt in his frame would send the man rolling onto the proper of his back, just between the shoulders. With the bipedal on his back, he lumbered forward, not yet moving to take wing until they were out of the forest.
