                    why is this place so huge?

         i should’ve payed more attention to beom hyung’s tour.

                                            where is the canteen?

                          w h y  i s  t h i s  p l a c e  s o  h u g e ? ? ?

the lost redhead finds himself in front of a four-story building distracted by his own inner monologue. he heads inside and explores the building hoping the canteen is somewhere in the building because sungjin is beyond hungry.

                                  i really want a sandwich.

but instead of a room field with students buzzing around and the glorious smell of food, he is met with a room filled with buzzing robots and the smell of robots(?).

just as he was about to throw a hungry tantrum he finds another person in the room, he sucks up all the courage and tries to channel his inner, more social twin, sungmin.

“h-hello! do you kn-know where the can-tiria is?”

practice makes something. *

“you are here for combat practice, aren’t you? come in, please, there’s no need to linger in the doorway.”

the room smells of sweat and skin and exhaustion, yet despite the faint hint of muscle fatigue and sweaty skin he’s all smiles as another student appears in the training room. he counts her as his third of the day -- with ‘save the citizen’ right around the corner, many of the student body are desperate to hone and perfect their combat skills, and an asgardian warrior may just serve as the best possible punching bag.

“i am mars, or vali if you prefer.”

he strides forward, past the pile of wooden staffs and training swords, and stretches out a hand, lips curled into a bright grin. she looks familiar (he’s been here for four years, most faces ring some kind of bell to him) but he hasn’t seen her around the training areas before - perhaps she doesn’t possess much of an offensive power, or perhaps she prefers to keep it to herself.

“have you done much combat before?”
