Dear prophetess Amelia,

So you're my great great great great aunt? The one who prophesied that a girl in my generation would be powerful? Are you sure your math is correct? I can barely do simple spells, and the most powerful thing I can do is use earth magic. At first my parents thought that I had an affinity for the elements but I can barely use the other elements--unlike earth magic which comes so easily to me that it's like breathing. Everyone has such high expectations for me that I'm afraid that I'm going to crumble. And on top of that my family is protective and I can't tell whether or not it's because I'm a prophesied witch or because I'm the youngest. I just want to know what you saw when you had your vision, I wonder if you actually saw me or if you could have possibly gotten the wrong witch. You have no idea how many times I wish you had not said anything to anyone and that you would have taken whatever you saw to the grave. But those are terrible thoughts, and I hate myself for them. I wish you were still alive. -- Sophie
