Sleeping Beauty
In a city where mutants are hiding among humans, Incheon is a fairly normal looking city. There usually isn’t much out of the ordinary, which speaks to how careful the lot of them are, as mutants.
So it's surprising when he's simply walking down the street to meet Mark that he sees a lump in the middle of the street that's suspiciously big enough to be a human. A small human, but a human nonetheless. Curiosity gets the better of him, and instead of crossing the street to avoid any trouble, Hyunwoo keeps walking forward. A little closer and he can distinguish a few features on the lump's face, features that seem very familiar to him.
It takes another second for him to realize that it’s Mark, and he’s jogging over to the guy. He’s breathing, that’s a relief, but definitely unconscious and not quite responsive. No idea what’s going on, Hyunwoo manages to lift the deadweight that was his friend and carry him back home, swinging the other’s backpack around his own shoulders. It was a good thing he didn’t make it very far from home before finding Mark.
He sets the younger down on his couch before going into the kitchen and returning with a cold wet towel for the other’s forehead. He’s not exactly sure if he’s doing it right, considering he was never a medic, but Mark’s skin feels warmer than normal and it would probably be better to cool the kid down. He sits down on the arm of the chair, putting Mark’s backpack down on the floor next to him before looking back over at the thankfully still breathing figure on his couch, wondering whether he should’ve taken the other to the hospital instead.
