(baby meme) A soft knock stirred Charlie from her bunk. Pulling open the door, her heart skipped a beat as she saw Zoe standing there, the baby fussing in her arms. "Something wrong?" she asked, grabbing her shirt and pulling it quickly over her tank.
"I- I ain’t sure," Zoe shifted the baby in her arms, trying to quell a stirring panic in her gut. "Does she— Does she feel warm to you? ‘Cause I ain’t sure what temperatures babies are supposed to be at, but I was holding her and she started cryin’ and when I wiped away some ‘a her tears she felt awful hot.
