"Uhm, Edelgard."
How does she word this, oh Goddess how does she word this? It's, like, the middle of the day, a small break period, and Lysithea hasn't had that many sweets yet - she's trying to stay able to get her words out right.
"I know this is... something I should probably be able to figure out on my own-" Pinnacle of maturity right now, Lysithea, "But..."
Pulling on her gloves absentmindedly, she just blurts it out - no point in dancing around this. If she goes through with this... she wants to see this. If it's too much? She'll not look too much further in
"Hypothetically, what would the process be to change houses?"
Oh goddess - she just went and said it. Like, she planned to, but a plan and an action are very, very different.
"I... don't really feel like I fit in the best with the Deer. And... I want to know what I'd have to do. Since you're a house leader, so I presume you know, and..."
She mutters the next part under her breath "One of the only people who'll take me asking seriously..."
"What's the process? And, if it's too full of paperwork and signings..."
Gulp.
"M-maybe a workaround for it, if need be?"
"Oh..? You are considering a class change?"
The sun shines down upon her face as she turns on her heel swiftly. It is the question itself that draws Edelgard's attention away from the bustling classmates behind her and onto Lysithea.
She did not even explicitly say which house in particular she is considering, but the princess herself hopes the one in consideration is her own. Presumptuous a thought it may be, the conclusion draws itself readily.
"I see.. I understand. The procedure is not as tumultuous as others say. There are papers to be signed, naturally, but.." A hand tosses her hair over her shoulders. "If I speak with those who hold that jurisdiction personally, I can assure a smooth and quicker transition. That is, if the house in question happens to be the Black Eagles. We do possess quite a number of talented mages you might find of interest."
Her lips upturn in wonder, hand resting atop her hips. She looks straight forward as she speaks: "I've no doubt you would thrive under any house's banner. But perhaps I am jumping to conclusions. Regardless, the choice will always be yours to make."
