Had a blast at anime weekend atlanta! I think my formal cosplay for the ball turned out well. I loved putting my own twist on Yu Kanda from D. Gray Man, and cosplaying Bellatrix Lestrange for the con itself was great. I was so happy to find a Harry and Draco :)

AWA 2015!

I know what you all are thinking. Didn’t she go to a con? Didn’t she cosplay again? Gee, I wonder how that turned out.

Well not to worry. Here is my second attempt at cosplay and my first attempt at a hand-made cosplay! Now with props including one chameleon, one frying pan and one devilishly handsome editor. @l33tmeatwad

Yup. That’s me & Scott as Rapunzel & Eugene from Tangled.

I enlisted the help of my mom, grandma, Scott (What??!!?! Yes, he did help.), and other friends of mine, to create both outfits from basically nothing.

I made Scott’s vest, pants, satchel & modified his boots; and my petticoat, skirt, and bodice.

Scott bought me Paschal, the frying pan & the pretty flower crown that distracted from my frizzy hair. (It was crazy raining the whole con.)

And he to top it off, he’s really cute. ;)

Definitely a cosplay we will keep & continue to tweak here and there. (ESPECIALLY my shoes. They were a full size too small.)
