Cursed Crusades Map
Look at this thing. It’s awful. NOTHING is even REMOTELY okay about this.
- no legend
- blurred lake borders (that’s not how lakes work)
- neon shading valley of Battof
- hard to differentiate cities and castles from villages
- mountains don’t exist apparently (not a night vale reference)
- battle is symbolized by sword_and_cimitar_crossing.png
- roads are drawn so thin they’re probably 20 cm wide IRL
- why is Tibériade blue ??? just realised it makes no sense. Is it because it’s by a lake ?
And it’s on the front page of the Wikipedia page for the Battle of Hattin in French !
Not cool. The crusader army of 1187 didn’t die for this :(
