Your favorite season and why?
Season three when I finally became the Black Canary was pretty great. I never hid the fact that I was dying to get that story-line going. It was part of the reason why I’d signed on to the show in the first place. Dinah Laurel Lance aka The Black Canary is one of the most celebrated and bad ass women in comics to date! It was such a privilege and an honor to portray her. But that being said, from an acting stand point, I also loved season 2. It was so raw and even though I was crying most days on set--fulfilling. It really stretched me as an actor. I took myself to places that I’d really never had to go as an actor before, and being in this business, those are the type of roles and scripts you yearn for. Then again, season 1 where it all started will always be near and dear to me as well!
