B.E.N : BENs a ragebaiter, and jack is always being rage baited. BEN will say the most absurd, weirdest things- whether it be from their own will or from one of the moon children. jack, on the other hand, always gets internally riled up and breaks his streak of not-speaking to stare at BEN and go “…what?” it’s never enough for jack to stay seriously mad, he’s obviously seen worse. it’s just that random little bursts of anger from so much nonsense/ the kind you feel drawn to, because it makes jack feel something. and jack always feels nothing. BEN always ends up riling him up, positively or negatively, and jack is always drawn to it. because it’s not as if it’s anything SERIOUS- and if it gives him that momentary feeling of intense emotion, then yeah. jack will stick around.

benjamin : ben finds the guy fun to be around. YEAH, ej doesn’t show much emotion- nor does he really.. speak, so it’s not as if he’s matching ben’s energy- but ben could just TELL. because EJ never hides it when he actually has a response to something, which means he never hides when he finds a comment amusing. ben, finding someone who is constantly amused at what he has to say, gives the boy a bit of an ego- pride. it makes him more confident, keeps him from reverting back into a skittish sense of self. ben will say the weirdest things ever- alike BEN- and jack will tilt his head and gesture for him to go on. (honestly, the only reason jack tries not to get mad is.. well, because he plays it off as ‘kids being kids’ subconsciously.) ben probably tried to introduce Jack to the dark web so he could collect organs, butt jack always kept forgetting it existed, and ben just gave up. sometimes ben delivers the organs TO jack’s doorstep!
