It had been so peaceful and calm lately. A far cry from the Spira she’d always known, even with her journey with the Gullwings, the High Summoner craved more—a desire to see the state of the world with no such ominous threats looming above their heads; how had the denizens adapted in the wake of the actual Calm? And so, as a gift to herself, perhaps, that want to explore it alone took over—her curiosity would not be sated by any other means, and distractions would possibly detract from the overall experience.
Being able to greet the people, as opposed to heeding every call, had been a welcoming change! A sense of normalcy found in such actions proved to be refreshing in every sense of the word, reveling in the differing ways she could see it through mismatched eyes. Observing the crowds of people who flocked against the streets of Luca, she couldn’t help but to notice one such man in particular—able to easily pluck him from the rest. He’d seemed…mildly displaced among them.
Abiding her inquisitive nature with a grin, the High Summoner made an effort to push through the strangers, mumbling her apologizes along the way. There was an oddity about this man that she simply insisted on knowing; why she felt so strongly compelled to introduce herself...or...offer assistance if he’d required any? Maybe nothing would come of it, but even still, she had to know…
“E-Excuse me,” Those last hesitant steps closing the gap, meekly calling to him and hoping to catch his attention. “Sorry, I just...is this your first time visiting Luca? You seem pretty lost—”
And if he hadn’t been? Well, she would leave him to his own devices, apologize and commence with the walk of shame.
