I realized drawing this that modern designers don’t...really design dresses for Marilyn Monroe’s body type—the poor girl would have been spilling out of this thing (and she certainly didn’t need those under-wire crescent moon thingies to define her bosom ffs alex).  Fortunately, it’s a drawing and she can still pull of just about anything so....

With a few deft strokes, Will put the finishing touches on his secret project. He threw away old sandpaper, applied compressed air, and passed a hand over the smooth surfaces of his hand-carved design to reassure himself that the carefully chosen varnish had fully dried. Then, he went to lift the crib, when he thought better of it. Instead, he went indoors to look for help.

“Could you help with the—,” Will stopped, with the door to the nursery half open. “It’s a family heirloom,” Hannibal said proudly, showing off the monstrosity that stood in the place of honor at the center of the room. “I had it shipped from overseas.”
