A Wink and A Smile
I first saw Wink at a friends birthday party. Tall, lean and a very cute were my first thoughts of him. But that was it, we didnt talk to each other at all that night; we exchanged a few awkward glances, a few smiles and one wink...and soon it was time to leave. It wasnt until school, when I told my friend to reconnect me and Mr.Wink. Several dates later and he was mine...equally I was his.
A wink is said to be used to share secrets, to show approval, to express sexual attraction; however a wink can also be a misleading gesture symbolizing a sneaky behavior.
Wink and I dated throughout my senior year of highschool into my freshman semester of college, where troubles began. A knew longing that I was missing out on other things, new people, different experiences, over came me which made my decision to end things between us. My first love was now just a good story.
We kept in touch here and there after the breakup until a new prospect came along (he is completely irrelevant that his name will never be mentioned). 1 short relationship later, I made contact with Mr.Wink. It was like nothing ever changed; like we never ended...and there my story continues.
