Is davina supportive of her getting back with billy? Do you think she would bring up matt just to piss billy off?

I think Davina is supportive of whatever the Reader wants. She would readily admit that she'd never seen the Reader happier than when she was married to Billy. And while she doesn't like any of the shit Billy put the Reader through, she also understands it was a complicated situation.

I don't think Davina and Billy are particularly close, but I don't think they're hostile to each other either. They're only friends because of the Reader and they're fine with that.

A Woman Scorned was the most perfect toxic relationship fic I have ever read. It's the best thrill ever, and the absolute joy that billy groveling got me is incomparable. I WAS HOOKED, everything was perfect, and I especially love love LOVE the fact that Y/N was a confident person in herself and realized her worth even though she had been treated like shit. It is so realistic, it genuinely felt like I was reading New York Bestselling Book. Thank you for this, I love your writing.

I had such an amazing time writing this fic and I'm so amazed at how much readers like you responded to it. I'm so grateful for the support, thank you so much.

My intent when I started writing this fic was to have a "Reader" who bypassed his radar. Someone he thought was just run of the mill, nothing special, and she turned out to be the absolute opposite of everything he'd expected. And she needed to be financially independent of him.

One day I'm going to publish this sucker, and I hope you guys will love it then too :)

Just finished AWS. Wow wow wow wow! I’m still processing the magic I just read. I have a very random question though. I know Billy and Reader had an abortion in the one shot. How do you think your AWS Billy would react if Reader had an abortion/miscarriage in the past with someone else? Like it happened years before they met Billy. I was wondering if Billy would be disgusted or want to kill the guy that had got her pregnant. Idk why this question is stuck in my head. Maybe because of how possessive he is and reader having a life before him.

As to your question - having an abortion before him? He wouldn't be disgusted, he'd be happy. The Billy in the AWS universe would be grateful because it means that when they did get together, she's all his. I know that sounds shitty but he hated the thought of sharing her with his *own* child lol

Of course he'd absolutely fucking hate whoever she slept with before him. That's a given :)

I personally love how the reader is not dependent on Billy, it makes for an interesting dynamic because he is forced to work for it. Example when he bought expensive earrings for her in ch3 but she was unimpressed cause she doesn't wear earrings whereas someone dependant on him wouldn't want to seem ungrateful.

It also gives her a chance to call him out on his shit and walk away of necessary because he doesn't pay her bills.

The way Billy falls for her once he sees her for who she is, is also 😘. She not only knows he is rotten to the core but she's not scared of getting down and dirty.

Thank you for noting how her independence served the story. That definitely was one of the reasons why I wanted her to be fully financially independent from him.

And it was really important to me that he fall in love with her personality which intensified his attraction to her. They were two very different people that connected on a deeper level when they saw each other’s true selves.

I’m sure this has been asked before but how did the idea of AWS come to you? Were you already planning on writing a Billy fic? I’m very curious if there was a moment in the show that helped create AWS Billy. 😄

I was reading a lot of Billy fics but there was a dearth at that time of female protagonists who were on an equal level with Billy. Maybe it was the fics I was choosing but in many of them the women were dependent on Billy financially and otherwise. I really wanted a different dynamic, where the Reader was not only not dependent on Billy, but who had just as much of a dark side to her. I'm also a huge fan of reading male character who slowly fall in love (I hate when they're instantly in love or find the women special from the get go). That's how the idea of them already being casually involved came from. He totally misjudged her from the very beginning, thinking she was nothing, and then slowly fell madly in love.

hi i was the recent AWS anon. AWSu didn't frustrate me at all! haha i love every single aspect of it FOR REAL, tho i do see where the other asks are coming from. idk, imo i usually just enjoy the ride of an entire story/fic since it's not my writing and it's like viewing an other piece of media. yes although i can't dictate anything, i love seeing how it pans out and inserting myself into these situations is also just super fun and interesting to think about "an alternate reality of me" lmao. the ranting to my friends were all good rants about loving our toxic fictional (semi-canon) men (who are psycho just for us) 😂😂😂 (pssst: i literally can't get over when billy broke that guy's hand for touching us and his jaw for talking bad about us). regarding the ending, i loveee that reader insisted on taking time for herself and she got it!! I ALSO LOVE THAT WE CAN KEEP THE DOG<3333 AND OFC I LOVE HAPPY ENDINGS!!! in general, i also really like how even though the love interest is toxic, we have a spine and talk back/speak the truths. tbh i literally feel helpless and heartbroken irl whenever y/n in fics just takes so much shit LOL. i don't even often like reading fics with toxic + psycho love interests bc #espacism, BUT the toxicity and spiciness are warmly welcomed every now and then if i like the premise. and at the root of it all, they are driven by love (so if i see how desperate they are, with a side of groveling, then i am HERE). and ofc i loveeeeed the entire story of AWSu, the character arcs, and all the little moments. i felt really immersed throughout and i was actually heartbroken during the whole memory-loss-divorce-meanie-dumont-fiasco. idk what else to type bc no words/ask can contain my enjoyment of your writing haha. AWSu really resonates with me, it was a blast reading it all! literally can't wait for grudgingly yours to pan out. already know i'm gonna love it so much hehe. hope you have as much fun writing as we are reading ;)<3
