My first time photographing cosplayers was Anime Expo in 2008. The anime convention had recently moved to downtown Los Angeles, sort of close to where I lived. I knew about cosplay through the internet and figured I would take cosplay photos so I packed my car with two light stands, a background paper and a beauty dish and spent four glorious days at Anime Expo.

AKB48 Request Hour 2008 - #45 - Kimi wa Pegasus (w/commentary)

The members commentating here are Sayaka, Sae, Erepyon and Tomo-mi.

Finally for the first time I get to hear the Twin Towers’ comments about this unit song they sing in. As I expected, I hear nothing but praises at how the Twin Towers (Sae-chan especially) are kakkoi and are like princes.

I’ve recently downloaded Request Hour concerts from 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012, all that includes the commentary audio track. If there’s any songs from any of these years that you would like to hear with the commentary, let me know and I’ll post some of them up.
