So after aggressively consuming a bunch of shorts going over different types of D&D giants, I now carry the headcannon that the Virgil from fbafb is specifically a stone giant that was just way too curious over humans for his own good and the second Remus realizes this he losses it a bit at the towns people that hired him because of how stone giants effectively just really like making cave art and sculptures and are the least of their issues to any giants. Especially in comparison to hill giants, which he assumed was the case when being hired.
