Growing up on the rough side of Brooklyn turned Bucky into a force to be reckoned with. With both his parents working multiple jobs, he spent most of his childhood on the streets doing what he could to earn money, whether it be running a few errands or delivering messages for gangs, he learnt quickly there was only one was to survive, fighting. He would watch anyone he could to pick up fighting tips. By the time he was 10 he was known as the most ruthless kid on the block, and no one would get into fights with him. It came as a surprise when he chose Steve Rogers to be his best friend. Bucky chose to fight for those who could not.
As soon as the United States officially entered the war, and The Draft was called, Bucky knew his luck, and he knew he would be pulled. He debated just enlisting, but he couldn’t do that to Steve, it wouldn’t have been right to leave him. He hid his Draft forms, but could only do it for so long before he had to get sent overseas. He lied to Steve, pretended he enlisted hoping it would make him leaving easier on Steve. Bucky proved to be top of his class at training camp, earning him the role of Sargent before he even stepped on the battlefield. Despite his natural fighting abilities, he was a great sniper, and his abilities were put to work before he was captured. His time in the trenches forced him to grow up faster than he could have ever imagined, it was here that he learned killing was something that had to be done. His time being a POW was not ideal, being in harsh working conditions and trying to protect his men. They experimented on him until he was finally found by Steve, who then offered to let him join his elite team, The Howling Commandos. Bucky wanted to leave the war, but he couldn’t leave Steve by himself again. Against his better judgement, Bucky agreed.
Everything seemed to be going well until the day of the train. There was nothing that could be done, and Bucky fell. Sitting in the snow in pure agony was worse than he could have ever imagined. Bucky wishes he had just died that day instead of being saved by passing Russian troops. They dragged him to a military base, and he felt like he was back in Azzano. He kept waiting for Steve to rescue him again, but as the torture and days wore on, he realized he was alone. Eventually he gave in, letting them wipe his mind and forget the pain. He was constantly cryogenically frozen, and he watched the world evolve one tiny snippets at a time. No matter what he tried, Bucky couldn’t remember anything about his past, not until he was sent to fight the man on the bridge. It triggered something inside of him, causing him to remember. He acted on his best behavior, hoping to retain the few memories that came back and waited for his time to escape. It took careful planning but he managed to break out and run from the captors he knew for years.
Bucky knew the only option he had was to hide and keep moving. The years of training from the Russians taught him how to keep hidden. He kept going, doing what he could to remember. Eventually his captors found him and attempted to take him back, but he fought before fleeing back to the United States. He had enough of his memories that he tried to seek Steve out, see if Steve wanted anything to do with him. He knew the authorities would be after him, so he made a deal with Shield to keep himself safe, he would tell them what he knew about Hydra, and they would keep him out of jail. Bucky knows it isn’t the best arrangement, but it’s all he’s got. He knows he’s being closely monitored at all times; he can’t so much as take his trash out without someone knowing but he is doing his best. Most days he stays inside his apartment writing down things he remembers, wanting peace in his life. As long as Shield holds up their end of the bargain he intends to lay low, but if not he will seek his vengeance against those who wronged him.

Bucky woke up, panting and covered in a layer of sweat. He pulled the gun from under the pillow, and got ready to shoot. He stayed tensed like that for at least 5 minutes, before relaxing, finally happy that the security in his room was just as it had been when he fell asleep. He took a few shaky breaths before unstable walking into the bathroom. He splashed some water onto his face, before looking into the mirror. He looked like death. His hair was everywhere, the bags under his eyes went on for miles, and the thousand-mile stare had returned to his eyes. Bucky had honestly thought his nightmares were getting better, but tonight, tonight proved him wrong.
As most of them did, they started with Bucky being prepped. They were sending him on a mission, someone was telling him all the information, but he was zoned out, he would be able to recall it later. He could feel his weapons being attached, all of his nutreince coming through the IVs, technicians working on his arm. The hands on him were rough, always so rough. He had been so starved for touch back then that he craved times like this, they could have been beating him to death, and he would have still leant in, just wanting another human to touch him.
“Asset, do you understand?” Someone spoke to him, the woman reading off all of the info he needed to know.
“да.” The Assets voice was low and rough, from constantly not being used. The muzzle was strapped on his face, tightly, always too tight. He felt the restraints being lifted from his body, but didn’t dare move, he had learnt the hard way what would happen if he moved without permission. He didn’t bother counting how long he had been waiting, but he felt the hard barrel of a gun against his shoulder, giving him all the permission he need to get up. He stood up, before allowing himself to be maneuvered into the hallway. He counted the guards surrounding him. Four in front, and four behind, four more guards than normal. He sorted through what he could remember about his last mission, but couldn’t remember doing anything wrong. He had to assume that it was a high risk mission. He walked through the familiar corridors, keeping his head down, knowing eye contact only leant to trouble. There was a spot of blood on the floor, and slowly, the spot turned to two, and two turned to four, and so on, but they kept getting bigger and bigger. He heard screaming, but he couldn’t be bother to look, he was just glad it wasn’t him. For once, he wasn’t in trouble, and it was a good feeling.
Bucky didn’t bother to keep track of where they were going, the blindfold preventing him from seeing, and he knew well enough that they were taking many fake turns to throw him off, but they didn’t realize that he didn’t care. They let him out, gave him a gun, and waiting for him to find where he wanted to go for the best shot. He knew the target would be coming from the road, choosing a place among the trees on the hills seemed like the best place. He looked to his handlers, and with their nods, moved to lay down, lining his eye up with the scope, and getting ready to wait.
Bucky had no idea how long he waited, he just sat, refusing to move, waiting for the right car. When he saw it come around, he got ready. He lined the scope up with the man’s head, before moving it, and shooting the tire. It was meant to appear as an accident, otherwise, he would have preferred the head, for a positive kill, but instead, he watched the car veer of if the road, and straight into the ocean. He waited five minute, making sure that they were for sure dead, before he finally stood up, walking back to his handlers. With a nod, the blindfold was replaced over his eyes, and he felt himself being moved back into the truck, and that’s when he woke up.
Bucky knew that man. That was one of the men that changed his life. That man helped in his rescue. He couldn’t believe that it was his fault that man was dead. Bucky was part of the reason it took so long for Steve to be found. He was part of the reason for Tony’s father issues. That man was Howard Stark, and Maria Stark was just another causality who happened to be in the car.
Why would you like to play this skeleton role? || This Rp seems like it has a lot of freedom for you to develop your character and interact with others. Bucky is the kind of character who is able to be played in several different ways and exploring him in your plot sounds like it will be very exciting. Questions? Comments? || I wrote the sample para before Civil War came out so it isn’t exactly cannon with what happened but its close.

Character/Role || Wanda Maximoff. Birthdate (month & day for our calendar) || Feb. 10th Gender ID & Pronouns (if not already specified, include both) || Cis female, She/Her. Sexual Orientation (if not already specified) || Asexual. Bio– Wanda and Pietro grew up in Sokovia without a father. Their mother had never really talked about him to the twins, or really anyone for that matter, so they believed that he had died before they were born. When they were in their early teens, they began to manifest their powers. their normally loving mother, being deeply religious, believed that they were the spawn of the devil, and dumped them in several mental hospitals Wanda’s mental health was never completely stable, and the chaos they were going through hadn’t made it much better. her greatest fear was she would accidentally kill her beloved brother. Since they really only had each other, they grew close, training in secret, and taking care of each other.
Years later, one night she awoke to see a man controlling metal and a giant hole in her room, and hear the alarms ring out. In fear, Pietro ran and grabbed her, and they fled. once everything was calm, the metal man told her that he his name was Magneto, and he was their father. he had created a team of mutants to defend their kind against humans, and he wanted his children by his side. Wanda was excited to have finally found a family again. But, her joy was short lived as she soon saw how violent Magneto’s actions against humans really were. Wanda was reluctant to speak up because her brother was truly happy for the first time. Eventually, Wanda had enough of the Brotherhood, and she successfully convinced Pietro that this was not right.
Together, they tried to stand up to Magneto, and attempted to get him to be more peaceful. His response was to abandon them in a battle with S.H.I.E.L.D. in New York City. With Pietro injured from the fight, they surrendered to S.H.I.E.L.D. once they had recovered, they accepted Fury’s offer of membership, hoping to right the wrongs that evil had done, both mutant and human. Wanda is still wary of humans, though.
Sample Multi-Para–Choose 1 of the 3 Scenarios below and use it to show your writing skills! 3rd person, past tense, in character! || (1) Wanda shot a blast of red energy at the HYDRA agents, knocking them out. The mission was to save kidnapped mutant children from the base and from Von Strucker’s experiments. if they were still alive….
Snapping out of her thoughts, she saw that she was surrounded by ten agents.
they were doomed. Smirking, she shot out more magic from her fingers, she placed them all in temporary freezing spells. Ever since she joined SHIELD, her mental health was improving, her powers were both under control and stronger, and she was definitely more happy and confident. Being a SHIELD trainee was the best choice she had ever made. Seeing that her teammates had blown open the doors, she ran inside, joining them.
After blasting open several doors, SHIELD had found the children. they were thin and dirty, but unhurt, thank God. Wanda went to comfort them.
“Shhhh…it’s okay. we’re here to help, i promise. you’re safe now.”
the kids pulled her into a group hug in response. as they hugged her, Wanda made a promise to herself that she would give them the same second chance that the professor had given her and Pietro.

Character/Role || Wanda Maximoff Birthdate (month & day for our calendar) || February 10th Gender ID & Pronouns (if not already specified, include both) || Cisgender Female; She/her Sexual Orientation (if not already specified) || Asexual, Biromantic Bio–
Wanda Maximoff had at one point been sure that she wasn’t crazy. But that was before being shipped off to a multitude of different asylums with her twin brother. With powers already difficult to control and the burning sting of rejection, it was only a matter of time before it would all have a negative impact on her state of mind. It had been in a daze that they had escaped what was like a prison to them. The time in hospitals hadn’t exactly made Wanda sympathetic towards humans, instead leading her to nearly desperately cling towards her brother and for her to wish for a life of normalcy; after all, if they hadn’t been ‘gifted’ with powers, none of their past would have happened in such a way.
The discovery of their father, the man labeled as a terrorist and known a 'Magneto’, had come something of a shock to the woman but one she overcame. Loyal to a fault towards her brother, Wanda sided with him and the Brotherhood. For a brief time, standing against the humans for what she felt was wronging them brought relief to her otherwise uneasy and burdened mind. Though as time went on and it was all too obvious at how little control Wanda Maximoff had over her powers. Between that and a spark of guilt for her actions, the Scarlet Witch was suddenly eager to leave for somewhere that may actually aid her with her powers that often overwhelmed her. With a growing fear of herself and her abilities, she and her twin took their leave of the Brotherhood though Wanda still felt regret at having her brother leave the organization as he seemed to fit in.
Moving on from there wasn’t entirely easy. Considering their past actions and her own issues, Wanda felt it a bit hard to directly interact with anyone at the school at first. But as time went on, things seemed to get better, however slowly. Wanda still clung to her twin and it was rare to see them without one another. Though she didn’t completely embrace a love for humans, her moral compass was straightened to point more north. How ironic that once dubbed a terrorist alongside her father, Wanda later found herself on the opposite side 'fighting the good fight’ and classed as a hero by some. Though when approached by SHIELD, Wanda did turn down a position among.
There was a brief period where she did try a 'normal’ life to contrast what she had led so far. But the years had started to wear her down once more and her powers overwhelmed her with fatal results. Once again, Wanda was given the choice to join the organization though she would hardly consider it a 'choice’. It was either that or be imprisoned alone like she had been so many years ago in the hospitals.
Wanda accepted.
Coupled with her own home and a job at the Daily Bugle, she has a chance to at least pretend to be normal. Plus with aid and training from S.H.I.E.L.D. (though Wanda still remains wary of almost any organization), she finds herself gaining more control and a chance to right her wrongs.

2) Write out a scenario where your character’s favorite (or personal) space is invaded and how they might typically handle that
It had been some time since Wanda had had an 'incident’. Near daily training practically drained her powers to begin with and she was learning to cope with her 'issues’. But that didn’t mean that everything was fine. Didn’t mean that Wanda no longer had her bad days where it felt like everything was caving in. While there were some people that Wanda didn’t mind being around, she had come to avoid most-usually for their own safety. Some days she would simply step away from those that came too close and triggered the alarms within her head. Those were her better days and often the days when others didn’t even notice.
Oh, how she longed for those days at that moment.
All day, she had been swarmed by people without a moment of rest. Her head had started to pound from the stress of no space, of the swelling panic that had risen in her chest several times throughout the day. And that had merely been at her day job, to say nothing of her time in training with a certain organization. Wanda had done her best to persevere despite the headache she felt coming on. Thankfully, the training hadn’t involved hand-to-hand and allowed her at least some space.
Dark nails rubbed at her temple as she began to leave the building, ready to just go home and rest. Perhaps go see Pietro. Her train of thought, however, was stopped the moment she felt a hand on her shoulder. Wanda knew it was just someone else from S.H.I.E.L.D.. Probably just trying to tell her something brief or to remind her to come back the next day. But the mutant woman had been trying to focus on keeping herself calm so much that, in a way, shesnapped. And while it was nowhere near as deadly as her last incident that had caused her to side with the organization in the first place, it was enough to draw attention.
A brief flash of crimson and Wanda turned in time to see the man skid across the ground, having been thrown back by her powers. She had reacted on instinct without even meaning to and the damage was rather minimal to the agent who had started to get up already. Maybe a couple bruises later but Wanda’s wide, emerald eyes couldn’t break contact with his. “Sorry,” she finally managed in her heavy accent, a grimace coming upon her lips, “It has been long day. I did not mean to.” Though even she knew this was a set back to be documented later.
Why would you like to play this skeleton role? ||
I’ve played Wanda for just over eight years now and have always felt a strong bond to her. While I’ve tried other characters, I always find myself right back to her no matter what.
