Dragon Age: Origins - Waraxes
CONFESSION:
After all these years I finally got that rare event where you get that axameter axe and I actually yelled when I saw it come up because I was expecting that grumpy random dwarven merchant. When they said that was a rare event, they were not kidding.
CONFESSION:
During the lockdown, I finally got that super rare random encounter where you can get the Axameter Waraxe. I literally yelled because in the last ten years of replaying Origins I never got that random encounter before. I was actually stunned and it took me a few seconds before I realized I finally got it. I enjoyed the random encounters but I really hope they never implement one that rare again.
Mod Note:
This link explains everything about the Axameter
Aw man I’m so pumped! I just found the Axameter in dragon age origins
Axameter
I found the super-rare war axe in Dragon Age Origins! This is my 3rd playthrough and I found it for the first time. I’m so happy!
kakumei said: There have been many playthroughs where I never even got the damn encounter T-T AND THAT AXE IS REALLY GOOD FOR STATS OK DFKLJSDF
Stats so good they happened to install a marry Alistair mod.
Who knew?
kakumei said: Sorry D:
It's okay... I'll get over it.
I think after all the hours I played searching for the damn axe, I deserve to use the damn 'Marry Alistair' mod.
A lot of people would probably disagree, including Gaider himself but...
BUT I SPENT 18 HOURS LOOKING FOR THAT FUCKING THING. DAVID. GAIDER. 18 HOURS. MISLED. WHAT THE FUCK, BRO?
As far as I'm concerned, the axe worked. If I had never had to fix the eye colors? It would have.
Fa la la la la.
kakumei said: Axameter has nothing to do with the story - it has no effect on whether you become ruler or not. Pulling out the axe and the villagers proclaiming you king/queen is a reference to Monty Python’s parody of “The Sword in the Stone”
It’s an Easter Egg ;)
Right... Yeah... That was what I was afraid of.
Thanks though.
