Gambit absolutely knows advanced cardistry, but he doesn't show off the more complex tricks because they can come off as cheesy or corny, and that isn't his style.

He would never tell you, but whenever you ask him to show you those tricks, take a genuine interest, and ask him questions, it makes him absolutely giddy. He hides it very well.

Traits and details that Gambit needs to have/have more often in the comics:

- Nose bump (this is incredibly important, like monumentally)

- Painted nails

- Eyebrow slit(s)

- Scars on his hands (bonus points if they're burn scars)

- Glowing eyes

- Him being nerdy (this is also important. my guy is a complete dweeb /aff)

- AND PIERCINGS!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!

You know what would be fucked up?

That when we see Gambit as Death again in season 2, that even though Apocalypse brought him back to life the evidence of what happened in Genosha is still present in his appearance.

When Gambit first became Death, he didn't sustain any injuries before he gave himself to Apocalypse, and that seems to have carried over into his transformation, so what if Apocalypse could only do so much to restore him this time?

Half of the hair on his head is burnt off, his scalp is scarred over, most of his ear is still missing, he is covered in burn scars from the explosion, as well as a massive scar on his side from the rebar impaling him.

Maybe he wouldn't be revived at all, and instead a reanimated corpse— effectively a puppet for Apocalypse to use to carry out his will.

Just some things to think about.

It will forever bother me that Gambits last name technically isn't spelt right. He's Cajun. The Cajun spelling would be Lebeaux, not Lebeau. I don't care if it's supposed to be a pun! Spell it how it should be spelt!!! Cajun French is different!!!!!!

Gambit is a lover boy, yes, but he is also a fucking bastard. He can be sweet and caring and also bitter and broody. He is charming as well as weird. All of these things are true, not just one or the other.

It's a good thing that Gambit has the ability to charm and make people listen to him because with eyes like his combined with probably having the prettiest lashes known to mankind I would NOT be able to listen to a thing he says otherwise.

— ❤️ Do you have any headcanons about your f/o? Are they common or not? What inspired them?

♤— I do! Most of the headcanons I have about Remy are mainly things that do appear in canon, but just not consistently if that makes sense. Some examples include him having piercings, painted nails, a nose bump, an eyebrow slit, and his eyes being able to glow. ♤— I know these headcanons are quite common amongst the fandom, and I honestly love that! I love seeing fanart with him having these features. ♤— Another headcanon I have are that he has burn scars on his hands and fingers, mainly from when he was a teen trying to get a handle on his powers and accidentally blowing things up too close to his hands. As an adult they're faded now, but still visible. ♤— Not sure if this is popular or not to be honest, but also truthfully I don't keep super close tabs on other headcanons for him unless I happen to stumble across a post. I am truly in my own little bubble tbh. ♤— I have a lot more headcanons but if I shared them all at once then it would spoil the fun... perhaps another time 👀

♤— As far as found family goes with the X-Men, of course we all get along, even if we fight or sometimes bicker. I love the team dearly, we all have been through so much together. ♤— As far as actual family, I would overall say we're cordial. It's strained with the guild overall, but that was to be expected— it's whatever. I have my thoughts and feelings about Jean-Luc, but I am polite. Tante Mattie though I get along with very well though, I love her rkgjnkdjr
