so this one time, FOOSH (The improv group I had been in for a year) had a workshop to welcome all the new members. I went and I wanted to be super welcoming to all the new people, so I went out of my way to learn everyone's names. And I remember I only two (male) newbies stuck out to me as cute, but one stopped coming the very next practice. Anyway, the other one, I interacted with very briefly just to learn his name. A few days later, he messaged me on Grindr. I didn't remember him at first. But then I suddenly did, and got his name wrong. Which was super embarrassing. But we kept talking and eventually decided to get lunch together. Then we hella hooked up. It was hot. So the weeks kept going and we developed a nice FWB thing, but before long I started having a thing for him and wanted more than that. He didn't return these feelings. One time I asked him to see a movie with me. I picked him up at school, bought his ticket, and took him there with me, thought everything was going cool. Some bitch then asked us, "Are you two on a date?" and he firmly said "No." and I kinda died inside a little. As the weeks kept going by I knew I was going to have to tell him how I felt but I also wanted to wait for the right moment. Not that I thought anything would come of it, but I don't know, I just had a feeling. That moment came when we were in the shower together post-coitus... I just felt like I had to, so I said, "Hey...would it...do you think it would be okay...what would you say if I asked you to go on a date with me sometime?"

He just kinda laughed a little and I was like oh fuck oh fuck oh fuck why did i do that but then he was like, "Okay." It sounded so much more like a "Why not" than a "Yes" but I was still really happy. And so I took him on a date...and then another, and another, and then I asked him to be my boyfriend and he said yes and we're still together 9 months later :3

1. My teeth are hella gross because i have needed braces since childhood but my parents didn't want to pay for them
