The children of a woman in hospital isolation raised a banner to express their love and give her strennght. Giorgos, Despina and Evgenis are not allowed to visit their mother in AXEPA hospital in Thessaloniki. The woman is hospitalized after she was infected with Covid-19.
However, they wanted to express their love and give her strenght and courage to come through these difficult times.
They came up with an idea: a banner that they raised on a wall outside her room.
“Mom, We Love you! Giorgos, Depsina, Evgenis” they wrote with big letter.
A touching message not of for the specific special mom but also for everyone struggling with Covid-19 in a country where infections are spreading like a wildfire.
In a last minute news on Tuesday, all 56 elderly in a care home in Ioannina, Epirus, have been tested positive with Covid-19. Twnty one of them have been taken to hospitals also in other regional units as local public hospital full, the remaining 35 remain in the home.
The facility owner told media that several elderly have underlying health issues, some serious one and depend on oxygen supply.
