She's tugging their sleeve - not in an annoying way, but definitely trying to get their attention: it's started to be chocolate time again, after all, and from what she'd learned after formal adoption in the South, and from what the other former Sage's Wizards had known, it is alright to give friends sweets. (Father had even done so, if while hiding out a little this year.) They're a little ugly, sure, clearly meant to be cats: lumpy, lopsided, the eyes misaligned. "I made you sweets this year, for the festival, and for Valentine's. Rutile and Mitile helped, but they still came out a little bad."

   A tiny gasp when gaze laid upon the chocolates in her hand, wonder sparkling in their eyes, unable to find the words to convey what they were feeling. They hadn’t expected it (frankly they hadn’t expected anything from anyone aside from the ones who had, proudly, announced it prior), and so Akira’s best response is just that; staring. Not with any ill-intent, quite the opposite with the amazement glowing on their face, coupled with warmth spreading from their chest up to their cheeks. Because not only were they self-made, they also resembled cats, and that alone was enough for them to break into a smile.

           “ I think they look adorable, I’d almost feel bad for eating them ”, a small laugh accompanying the words, feeling cared for was a wonderful thing. “ Wait a second ”, however, before accepting them they look through the bag they had been carrying, carefully picking up a small present bag with her name on it. “ Nero helped me make some for everyone, they should taste okay but they might look a bit plain... I wanted to give everyone something as thanks for helping me ”, to settle in in this strange but incredible world, to not feel lonely...there was many things Akira appreciated them all for. “ So, I’m really happy you made this for me. Thank you ”, bright smile while exchanging the gifts, and hoping at least a fraction of the overwhelming love they felt could be conveyed.

“Cheemcha, you got so taaaaaaaall!” They certainly are both safe and warm and happy! Ritsu rocks side to side on their feet like a pleased penguin, taking Cheimi along with them on the motion. Of course, this isn’t the first time they’ve seen tall and buff Cheimi, but they’re an infrequent sight and it’s always a little surprising again.

When does Ritsu get to be the tall one, huh?! (Never. They’re five-foot-nine for life, babes.)

truly, they are a curious girl ( fae-feral, flurry of crimson / once adversary, now ... what was it to him now? ) to be so fearless when approaching a god from beyond! he, timeless — he who loved too much that it drove him to destroy — ( for a moment, he thinks of the prideful, beautiful human who thought him but mere spellwork )
