My Headcanons/Backstory for the Gorgon Family(ft. OC)
From oldest to youngest: Euryale, Stheno, and Medusa
I like the idea(i do not remember the og post) that the Gorgon sisters where always snake monsters and the curse was a fear aura(explanation for them being called hideous when they were said to be beautiful) and Medusa's gaze. But i will add other stuff were due to the curse
Ive seen depictions were Medusa's sisters looked differently to her with boar tusks/face and brass hands and being very fast. Euryale is the sister with the brass, from her hands up to her elbows. Them claws were made for tearing. She also has boar tusks along with her snake fangs. I made my oc Amelio Gorgon her son, his brass only goes up a bit past his wrist.
Viperine's mom. Also has boar tusks along with snake fangs. Doesn't have brass hands tho, but she is the fastest of the sisters, I was inspired by how quick Viperine is with makeup and her speech, like dc speedsters lol.
Stone gaze ofc. Doesn't have boar tusks and she's the only sister without a snaketail, she got regular legs. Medusa has the title of Man Hater for a good reason, whereas her sisters where fine with staying secluded on their temple and only attacking those that went looking for them, but Medusa Hunted.
The sisters separated for a good couple years to find themselves as they had always been known as the Gorgon Sisters or even worse Medusa and her sisters, not just Euryale, Stheno and Medusa.
During those years apart the first gorgon cousin was born Amelio(my oc), but Euryale didn't contact her sisters or meet them as her child was a boy and raising a child as a single mother is difficult.
Stheno sent word that she had born a daughter but didn't meet up with her sisters as she wanted to focus on making roots for herself and her sisters by getting a house for herself and buying plots for her sisters.
Medusa called for her sisters when Deuce was born because she wants the help of her big sisters, as as far as she knows one of them already has a kid, and because she's having a moral dilemma about having a son, as she loves her child but despises men and her child will grow into one, but thats her baby, how can she ever hate her baby?
And so the sister's have their long overdue reunion with extra passengers. Medusa and Stheno were both surprised, and pissed, that Euryale never said anything about having a child, let alone a son. But they get over it and catch up and raise their kids together for a bit.
My boiiii<3. Like i said oldest. I have him in like his mid-20s. Monster High Graduate. Lives on a farm with his two boyfriends💗. When they were little Deuce and Viperine used to beg him to go in disguise to get normie stuff. Viperine cant hide her monster features as easily as the boys can, but Deuce couldn't go because his mom was a bit overprotective and hated normies. He goes out into the human world as a gardener/flowershop employee since it explains away any questions people have. Beanie to hide snakes? Fashion. Mask for fangs? Allergies to a plant. Gloves for claws? Garden work. Has a work apron to complete the look "Emi's Flowers" which is supposed to be his mom's normie name. She hates it. His cousin's sometime call him "Lio" instead of his full name inspired by the cowardly lion because he doesn't like fighting. Its all fun n games tho, they don't actually mean it, they've seen what he can do with those claws.
Viperine i hc to be in 18-early 20s. She already has a job but she's also pretty young similar to Elisabat's age because Elisabat grew up with Draculaura and i know she can just be a teen/child star but i lile her being a lil older than laura better >:(. (I hc like 1800). She's physically and mentally older than Elisabat. She and Deuce like to race even tho he should know that he'll lose evrytime cuz superspeed but he's stubborn(no listen, like 'lio, dude, i totally got her this time, i went to this Ex-scream training camp, i got this).
The Gorgon Family has the vibes of "looks they could kill you, could actually kill you" with the exception of Amelio who has more of a "looks like a cinnamon roll, is a cinnamon roll (that could actually kill you)"
