Playing Catch-up Updating~

Sorry it has been forever and a day! With cons one after another, classes coming to an end, and working more jobs it has kept me from here. So~ i will be doing a bit of catch up this week though for the ones that have been following my cosplay page this may just be a repeat for you. 

Soraka Cosplay: The whole fur dying thing caused a lot of problems but in the end it has finally came to a good ending. After using three different things to dye the fur the color is finally perfect.

Next came the India Ink. I have to say it did much better than the Poly Dye but it still didn't hold to the fur well.

Still not being dark like I want, I mixed black and green paint with water in a spray bottle and FINALLY came out with the right color~ Though the Ink did give it a cool look ^^

So, if I ever dye fur again I'm going to ink dye it first the add more depth to it by adding the paint water mix afterwards.

No i didn't turn into a travel blog... well not for long... I have a couple billion pictures queued up. i'm hoping to convince Ayachan to come with me next year to Europe! the best way around the sticker shock is to show all the amazing  places we'd go. hashtag yolo

Weekly Cosplays Update

Rather than doing several posts a week when new cosplays progress I thought it would be a good idea to do a post once a week. The update posts will be put out on Saturday/Sunday nights. If you want to keep up daily you can always check out/like my Cosplay Page

Here is the first one Weekly Cosplay Update :D

There are several cosplays I have been working on the past week or so. One is Len from Vocaloid and it is his dress from the Imitation Black video. It was going to be done for a photoshoot this week but it had to be canceled due to life getting in the photographer's and I's schedules. Now the cosplay has come to a short pause but hopefully tomorrow I will have a chance to start it back up :)

It is over half way finished now (with the help of my kitty cat lol) The bodice needs a zipper and attached to the skirts as well as the ruffles sewn on as well. There's a few other things such as the corset and arm warms. 

Fluttershy cosplay is going amazing. Need to put in lining to the top, attach bodice to high low skirt, and add the zipper! But.... then there is the wigs T^T They aer coming along okay. I did have to order more feathers since you can't go to a store and buy feathers for only the left or right wing...

Last one to update about is a secret(for now) cosplay I'm working on for AWA. I worked on draping the bodice and now working on the skirt. Here is the bodice ^^ (with the name of the character covered up by fabric~)

Update~

Hi everyone! Yes, I'm still here. Sadly life has been busy lately and I haven't been able to update much at all... On the upside I have been able to start on a new cosplay! It is Meiling Li from Cardcaptor Sakura~ It is coming along but then again it has come to a stand still since a week and a half ago T^T Hopefully I can start back up on it soon. Here's what is lloks like so far 

I do also have the lining done as well but... I may end up doing a different lining X-x;

Hi~

Hello everyone! Sorry it has been forever since I last posted something. Life has been busy with the holidays and things are settling down again at least for a little bit till con season hits!

There is a two day anime and comic con coming up :) Pretty excited to go for a day and hang out with other anime lovers <3 I will probably be going as Ciel when he wears his pink dress.

I'm not sure if I uploaded it before or not, but here is our Disney panel. I apologize for my sister talking but here we go. I'm the Ariel. And you can't hear most of it but the Belle, myself and the Meg were having very in character conversations. I kept taking Lumier because "why does it...what's the word, burn?"

Gabriel turned the Impala into a wagon

Shout out to my sister's friend, Mark for being a last second Crowley because he was awesome. He hadn't watched too much of spn but he LOOKS like Crowley. And he's good with accents so my sister got him up to date and he was our ridiculously sassy King of Hell for our panel. 

Our friend Sammi was blond Ruby and she was awesome, blond Ruby doesn't get enough love. 

Overall the panel went pretty well. Better than we expected actually. We were pretty worried we wouldn't get any questions but we got questions up until the very end. And my sister was a very tiny Sammy with funky hair- thanks to Gabriel. Who also turned the impala into a wagon, in which Cas rode in and Dean drove. 

The Disney panel was pretty good, not as well as we'd hoped. A lot of our cast was missing but it went well considering. Thanks to brie-neko and ayacosplaychan for being on our panel last second and making it a little more lively. Also a HUGE thanks to our Meg who we weren't aware had actually worked in the parks so she had a lot to bring to the table and talk about while people were getting questions together. She also handled our trolls pretty well. 

All in all, anime blast was wonderful. People liked our wagon theme, thought it was pretty cute. They kept asking me how I got her to pull me around, but it was actually Katherine's idea. So my answer of course was that Spain lost a bet.
