So I've gathered some random Ayane headcanons that's happened over time;

She's a Pisces, (yet of The Sun arcana),

She's Lawful Good

She may or may not have a 'natural gift' for tarot reading (as stated by Elizabeth), although if anything it's probably just Ayane's own belief and interest. She's still sees herself as a novice.

Someone really should yank her out of the superstitious and mystical occult arts before it gets out of hand.

I could wait for that Persona Shadows blog to get to Ayane and use that as a headcanon/base, but that's kinda copying their work. Very bad. Wrong.

I've always thought it'd definitely be a bird. Almost all of the Sun Arcana Personas (not specific to the user) are birds. Phoenix, Horus, etc. Even then, I think a bird would suit Ayane's personality quite well, compliment the fact of her own PROGRESSION (ay) into 'leaving the nest' - growing up.

I guess something that would take reference from Ra (ancient egypt) but, personalize it to suit more of herself? As it is her Persona. Music is also a major factor to consider, it's not her identity, but she is very passionate about it - it's her expression. Curiously enough Ra's consort Hathor is a goddess of music among many other things.

So maybe a mostly bird like creature with feminine features and jams out on a sun disc idek.

Headcanon (I'm also going to split these into seperate posts because of length):

tomboychariot - Chie: I don't know why, but I always headcanon that, while Ayane can't particularly learn the same martial arts moves as Chie, she does atleast learn some rudementry form of self-defence, but most importantly about using her height to her advantage with taller bullies. ...

I also headcanon that this is the first and last time Ayane would ever get in trouble with the school for violence because she puts what Chie taught her to the test on a bully and manages to get them on the floor.

hyoriittai - Shirou & Tohru: For Shirou, at first, I headcanon that she doesn't have any feelings for him, and that actually her doting behavour is more motherly than it is anything else, but the more time she spends with him, the closer she could feel herself grow to him, until she does start developing feelings. 

Tohru.. oh good golly gosh Tohru. There's so much stuff I could write but I don't want to spoil it because we've yet to RP it. Hmm.. I headcanon that he's the first person that Ayane has had a truly hard time trusting. He's also THE only person who not only brings the worst out of her, but also she isn't afraid to show her 'smart side'. Not that she's hiding that in the first place, but she's much more open about her comments and opinions than anyone else.

❧ describe their usual sleeping position

☀ Ayane mostly sleeps curled up and under the blankets, and often suffers for it in the morning when she has to uncurl after staying in that position for so long. Alternatively she sleeps on her back with her head turned to the side.

☀ Ayane has a particularly horrible nervous tic of biting her lip or chewing the inside of her cheek. The problem is she’s aware that she does this, and is struggling to find a good enough way to stop herself from doing it (as she had done with biting her nails). There has been an instance before where she had drew blood from biting too hard on her lip.

Despite this she does try to take the best care of her lips, and therefore doesn’t become chapped or whatnot.

☀ As Ayane has child-like proportions, her hands are no different. They’re tiny compared to most girls her age with small yet deft and nimble fingers. They’re soft and delicate, as replicated by her careful actions as well.

Her nails are quite short cut and she takes care not to get any dirt under them. She also washes her hands quite regularly as she does handle a brass instrument for the most of the time, and wouldn’t want the metal to stain her fingertips.

☼ Headcanon! I haven't done one of these in ages:

☀ Ayane's fashion sense is her own little way (among others) of coping with boring Inaba. While she does have rather extravagant outfits, her social anxiety stops her from wearing something too out of the norm. Most of it is charity-shop clothings or bigger things cut down to her size, or in recent cases, tailored by Bebe.

☀ As she grows older, and her anxiety is reduced somewhat, she's not shy to go all out on her outfits. She tends to wear something that fits the scene and mood of her music, it helps give her inspiration.

☀ She loves cosplay.

☀ Entirely unrelated, Ayane is actually pretty competent at logic games or games that utilize alot of math. She's surprisingly decent at chess, although she's not "championship" level of good, of course.

☀ Ayane truly likes the detective (or well, his facade of a nice guy, anyway) and feels as if she could speak about anything with him. There’s a sense of security and trust that’s easier placed than for others because of his position as a police detective. She actually finds it quite thrilling and exiciting that she’s “friends” with a policeman.

☀ Because of that growing trust, Ayane is very slowly growing used to his touches and odd questions. She still would get flustered about it, but she’s slowly overcoming it. Poor bby.

☀ A real random one: Ayane actually wants to try on his jacket. She’s the type that likes wearing bigger clothing than designed for her, she’d just find some simple pleasure in trying it on once. Not that she’d EVER hint or tell Adachi in a million years, lol.

shopping + headcanon

☀ Ayane rarely shops for herself and therefore doesn’t visit Junes often. This is partly because her anxiety creeps up at her in the worst cases, making talking to cashiers super awkward, especially if she’s only purchasing a single item or what not.

☀ She also NEVER uses the changing rooms in shops too, when purchasing clothes. She rather take the risk of blindly buying something than changing clothes in practically a public area. Bebe’s tailored new clothes made just for her are a godsend.
