CLOSED | CALVIN
Venus huffed in frustration, her dramatics playing out at an all time high. “Calvin!” The younger girl whined, her voice resonating through the hallway from her bedroom towards Calvins ears in the living room. “I swear! I was reading a book---hold the sarcastic comments until the end---and it was just there! On my bedroom wall. I couldn’t breathe!” Vee flailed her arms dramatically as her feet made their way to meet her friend back in the living room. “Seriously, if I don’t find this spider I am not sleeping until it is dead.” Vee chuckled, but deep down she meant it. She was deathly afraid of spiders, and Calvin knew this. “It was bigger than the one we found at the cabin over the summer for Fourth of July. I cried for about three days straight. But--that one was on my arm.” Vee plopped down on her couch, sulking. “I’m doomed to have a sleepless life.” The blonde shook her head in disbelief.”I can’t afford to blow up my apartment but if that’s what it takes--I’m sure we can figure it out, right?” Her blue hues adverted up from the couch to Calvin.
