...and never got round to answering the questions. But with the Christmas stress over and Sherlock Series 3 just a few days away - here's my answers!

1. If you had the chance to make a movie of your life, who would you cast as yourself and which director would you choose?  Kate Winslet and/or Emma Thompson. Stephen Soderbergh. He makes sexy movies.

2. Favourite memory from childhood? Oh dear, that's so long ago, I don't even remember. :o) But, seriously, I'd say when my sis, Mum and I went to the US on board my Dad's ship in 1986 and my sis and I would get up at 4am to go on watch with our Dad. 3. Current ringtone?  My mobile's always on silent, but it's a generic Blackberry ringtone (I think). I have Irene's moan (from A Scandal in Belgravia) as my text message tone.

4. The book that changed your life? The Harry Potter book series, without doubt. 5. What do you think about the huge impact Tumblr has on a daily basis?  I think it's amazing how tumblr brings together people from so many different parts of the world and how real friendships are formed. However, I also see the risks of things getting out of hand easily (fandom related, etc.)

6. You have an entire weekend to do whatever you want to (an by whatever I really mean WHATEVER. Live in a castle, have sex with your favourite actor, eat a hundred Big Macs without getting sick) what would you do? Have sex with my favourite actor IN a castle AND eat tons of Big Macs in between. ...just kidding! No, really, I think I would  go to either London or New York for the weekend and try to have as much fun as possible (visit exhibitions, museums, see a theatre performance, etc, have awesome food, ...), and hopefully run into my favourite actor :o)

7. A guilty pleasure? Candy apples and cotton candy, The Parent Trap and fanfiction.

8. Favourite TV trope?  Oh god, I have no idea....

9. Ice cream or chocolate?  Ice cream.

10. Top five TV shows?

I would cast someone who actually has epilepsy or actually has two lazy eyes. None of this beauty nonsense. The director would be someone I thought could represent me accurately. 2. Favourite memory from childhood? Probably the little moments before I'd do something stupid and get in trouble. 3. Current ringtone? Some default something or other. 4. The book that changed your life? There's never really been a book that's changed my life, though there have been a few that have helped shape it on a path it was already heading down. 5. What do you think about the huge impact Tumblr has on a daily basis? I think that when it's good, it's very, very good and when it's negative, it's terrifying. 6. You have an entire weekend to do whatever you want to (an by whatever I really mean WHATEVER. Live in a castle, have sex with your favourite actor, eat a hundred Big Macs without getting sick) what would you do? I want to travel to alien planets and experience their nature and their cultures. Hopefully without dying from space germs or hostile life. 7. A guilty pleasure? Reality TV shows where I'm learning more about the psychology of people than something sciencey. 8. Favourite TV trope? Oh no. The protagonist and the antagonist are both in danger from the same foe or situation. They must work together to overcome this problem. Maybe they become friends, maybe they don't. It doesn't matter either way. 9. Ice cream or chocolate? Ice cream 10. Top five TV shows?
