His father, an officer in the Iraqi Army, was killed on duty by an al-Qaeda attack in 2008.
His brother was kidnapped by ISIS and to this date his whereabouts are still unknown.
He was questioned for SEVEN HOURS at O’Hare International Airport in Chicago Illinois before being let in.
He scored Iraqs first goal at a World Cup in the past 40 years.
