No Boundary Strong Enough To Hold Us Back! Made this peice for the Firebaugh-McNair Symposium! Their program gives out scholoarships to those who come from disenfranchised back grounds, such as formerly incarcerated and first gen/undocumented folks. They believe that despite that, they are all researchers! In my peice we have a poc man who is breaking a finish line banner, that displays the mexican border and a jail cell on each side, to represent, that even tho he was formerly incarcerated/a migrant, he pushed past that to earn his diploma! Because these kind of obstacles shouldnt hold back a person from their right to an education!
